The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with the IETE Students Chapter, organized a Guest Lecture on “Embedded System as the Backbone of IoT Application” on 24th September 2025 at 10.00 AM in the Sir Visvesvaraya Seminar Hall, Cambridge Block.

The session was delivered by Mr. V. Monishwaran, Senior Project Engineer, IPCS Global, Madurai. He shared his expertise on embedded systems and highlighted their vital role as the foundation of Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The lecture provided students with valuable insights into the integration of embedded platforms with IoT, industry applications, and the scope for future innovations in this domain.
