AAA College of Engineering and Technology successfully organized the IBM Smart Skill Guided Learning Experience Training Programme in association with IBM and Edunet Foundation from 15th December 2025 to 18th December 2025 at the Visvesvaraya Seminar Hall, Cambridge Block. The programme was conducted with the objective of equipping students with industry-relevant knowledge and hands-on exposure to emerging technologies, thereby bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world industry expectations. The training programme was designed for III year students of AI & DS, Computer Science Engineering, Cyber Security, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Information Technology (Batch 2023–2027). The sessions focused on building a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, with special emphasis on modern concepts such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and LangChain, which are widely used in current AI-driven applications.
The programme was led by Mr. Vignesh Muthuvelan, M.Tech (IIT Patna), Master Trainer at Edunet Foundation, who served as the resource person. Through well-structured lectures, live demonstrations, and interactive discussions, the trainer introduced students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, its real-time applications, and its growing significance in various industries. The sessions provided students with practical insights into how AI solutions are developed and deployed in today’s technological landscape. Throughout the four-day programme, students actively participated in guided learning activities that enhanced their conceptual clarity and technical confidence. The training emphasized hands-on learning, problem-solving approaches, and exposure to industry-standard tools and frameworks. Students gained valuable knowledge on how Retrieval Augmented Generation improves AI model responses and how LangChain plays a crucial role in building intelligent, scalable AI applications.
The programme was conducted in the esteemed presence of the college management and administration, including Dr. P. Karvannan, Chairman & Secretary, Dr. P. Ganesan, Correspondent, Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar, Joint Secretary, Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, Mr. J. Saravananlal, Placement Director, and Dr. G. Jayahariprabhu, Training and Placement Officer. Their support and encouragement highlighted the institution’s strong commitment towards industry-oriented education and skill development. This initiative reflects AAA College of Engineering and Technology’s continuous efforts to collaborate with reputed organizations like IBM and Edunet Foundation to enhance students’ employability skills. The programme not only strengthened students’ technical competencies but also motivated them to explore advanced domains in Artificial Intelligence and related technologies. IBM Smart Skill Guided Learning Experience Training Programme proved to be highly beneficial and impactful. It provided students with valuable exposure to emerging trends in AI, improved their practical understanding, and prepared them to meet future industry challenges with confidence. The college remains committed to organizing such industry-aligned training programmes to nurture technically proficient and future-ready engineering graduates.
