The Department of Science and Humanities organized a Motivational Talk for the First-Year Engineering Students (2025–2029 Batch). The programme, titled “MongoDB Basics for Students course, designed as part of the India Skill-a-thon initiative in collaboration with MongoDb University,” was held on August 20, 2025, at 3.05 p.m. in the Kamarajar Auditorium, Oxford Block. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. P. Senthil Pandian, Associate Professor of CSE Department, who delivered a motivational talk on the Engineering growth, awareness and career opportunities. The course also provided practical exposure to working with MongoDB Atlas, enabling learners to understand real-time database deployment and management. The programme aimed to introduce students to fundamental concepts of MongoDB, a widely used NoSQL database technology.
