The Institutions Innovation Council, Department of Research and Innovation Development & IQAC jointly organized a technical session on National R&D Funding Schemes, Institutional Innovation Ecosystems and Proposal Excellence on 18.02.2026 at Thomas Alva Edison Hall. The session was delivered by Dr. T. Ram Prabhu, Joint Director, DRDO, Bengaluru.

The programme was conducted as a highly interactive session for faculty members and M.E. students. The resource person provided comprehensive insights into national funding opportunities, research proposal preparation, financial planning of funded projects, and effective pitching of innovative research ideas.

The session created a strong awareness about the scope of research in various domains and motivated the participants to actively engage in funded research projects, consultancy works, and innovation-driven activities, thereby strengthening the institutional research and innovation ecosystem.
