The NSS Unit of AAACET successfully organized a memorable event to celebrate National Sports Day on August 29, 2025. The day is observed annually to commemorate the birthday of the legendary Indian hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand. The event aimed to promote physical fitness and sportsmanship among students and faculty, aligning with the spirit of the Fit India Movement. NSS volunteer, K.Guru Vignesh, shared the inspiring history of Major Dhyan Chand, reminding us of his incredible contributions to Indian sports. Physical Director Mr.M.Veerukkannan delivered a motivational speech on the critical role of physical fitness in leading a healthy life. He emphasized that fitness is not merely about excelling in sports but is a fundamental aspect of overall well-being. The celebration concluded as every participant joined together to take the Fit India Pledge. The program was coordinated by NSS Coordinator Mr.S.Balamurugan.
