The Department of Information Technology, through its association TechNexus, successfully organized a five-day Internationally Recognized Certification Course on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) from 19th August to 23rd August 2025.
The training, powered by Oracle Tech Academy, was conducted at the Innovation Laboratory, Third Floor, Cambridge Block.
With the blessings of Shri. P. Panjurajan, Founder of AAA Group of Institutions, and under the esteemed guidance of Dr. P. Karvannan, Chairman & Secretary, Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, Dr. P. Ganesan, Correspondent, Dr. K. Vignesh Kumar, Joint Secretary, and Mrs. S. Seethalaksmi, AP & Head of IT Department, the program began with great enthusiasm. The course was effectively coordinated by Mr. N. Muniselvam, AP/IT.
The aim of this program was to impart knowledge to students on how cloud technology functions, what prerequisites are needed to work in the cloud environment, and how multi-cloud architecture can be designed and implemented. It was structured to provide both theoretical foundations and practical experience so that students could not only learn but also confidently work in a cloud-based environment
Throughout the 40 hours of training spread across five days, students gained a strong understanding of concepts such as cloud computing fundamentals, service and deployment models, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure basics, identity and access management, compute services, networking, storage solutions, and database services including autonomous databases. Each session was highly interactive and engaging, with experts making the learning process enjoyable by simplifying complex concepts and often entertaining the students during discussions to keep the environment lively.
