Parent –Teacher Meeting on 11-10-2025

The Parent–Teacher Meeting for the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science was conducted on 11th October 2025, in Sir C V Raman Hall, Cambridge Block, Third floor, at AAA College of Engineering and Technology, with the active participation of parents, faculty members, and students. This meeting was organised as a joint session for both II-Year and III-Year students, aiming to strengthen communication between parents and the department, as well as overall student development.

 The event began with the screening of moments of the department with Audio-Visual (AV) presentation, which showcased the growth, milestones, and major achievements of the department over the years. After the presentation, our Head of the Department, Dr. P. Devabalan, M.E, Ph.D, delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the recent college and departmental upgrades. He shared details about the previous year’s academic results, appreciating both faculty and students for their dedication and hard work. He reminded students about the upcoming examinations and encouraged them to prepare well, maintain discipline, and make the best use of the learning opportunities provided by the institution.

He emphasised that discipline, punctuality, and continuous learning are essential traits for success, especially in the fast-evolving field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. He also spoke about the importance of educational upgradation and skill development, encouraging students to participate in the various training programs and certification courses offered by the department. He proudly mentioned that some of our students have achieved remarkable milestones, including being selected as ambassadors in reputed industries, bringing recognition and pride to the department.

The session also underlined the importance of parental involvement in students’ academic journeys. The HOD urged parents to actively monitor their children’s studies and support their innovative ideas and projects. To gather meaningful feedback, the department distributed feedback forms to all parents.

After the formal session, parents visited their children’s respective classrooms to meet the subject handling faculty. Teachers shared insights on each student’s academic performance, attendance, and behaviour, and discussed ways for improvement. Parents expressed their satisfaction with the discussions and appreciated the department’s initiative in organising such a meaningful and well-structured event. The meeting concluded on a positive note, reaffirming the shared commitment of parents, teachers, and students toward academic excellence and holistic growth.
