SEMINAR ON TRANSFORMATIVE & FUTURISTIC TECHNOLOGIES IR4.0 & BEYOND WITH LEARNING 4.0 on 10-04-2025


The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), successfully organized a seminar on “Transformative & Futuristic Technologies IR4.0 & Beyond with Learning 4.0”. The seminar was held on 10th April 2025 (Thursday) from 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM at the Thomas Alva Edison Seminar Hall, located in the Cambridge Block of the institution. The session began with a warm welcome address by V. G. Padmapriya of III Year EEE department. The event aimed to create awareness and promote understanding among students and faculty members about the emerging trends and innovations shaping the future of industry and education.

The seminar focused on Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0), a global movement that integrates automation, artificial intelligence, IoT, and smart systems in industrial processes. The talk also emphasized Learning 4.0, which aligns educational methods with digital transformation and self-directed learning.

The resource person for the seminar was Mr. B. Murugavel, who holds a B.E., M.S., and M.B.A., and currently serves as the Chief Skill Officer at ATRIBS – Shield Skill Hub, Chennai. Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, Professor & Head presented a memento to the chief guest Mr. B. Murugavel.

 Mr. Murugavel delivered an inspiring and insightful session that addressed both current industry expectations and the evolving skill demands in the era of digital transformation.

He elaborated on the need for upskillingmultidisciplinary knowledge, and the development of 21st-century competencies. He shared case studies and real-world examples that reflected the power of adaptive learning and technological integration in the professional domain.

The speaker encouraged students to adopt a growth mindset and emphasized the importance of lifelong learning. He also highlighted how Learning 4.0 platforms and tools can help learners take ownership of their education. The session was interactive, with students actively engaging through questions and discussions. The atmosphere was charged with curiosity and enthusiasm as participants explored futuristic ideas that could shape their careers. Faculty members and participants expressed their appreciation for the speaker’s clarity, relevance, and real-time insights into emerging trends. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the resource person, the organizing team, and the participants for making the event a grand success.
