The NSS Unit of AAACET organized a Cyber Security Awareness Program on 13.08.2025 at Sir Issac Newton Hall to promote the digital safety among educators and citizens. The program was inaugurated by Mrs.K.Shanthi, District Educational Officer, Virudhunagar, who emphasized the role of NSS in nurturing social consciousness and civic responsibility among citizens. NSS Program Officers from schools across Virudhunagar district participated in the event. Through Experiential Learning Training on the MyBharat portal, NSS volunteers accessed cyber safety modules via the i4c portal—India’s Cyber Crime Coordination Centre. The objective of experiential learning is to learn and share their knowledge with the citizens. NSS Volunteer, Mr.M.Nambi Krishnan, delivered an awareness session on crucial topics such as phishing scams, password protection, and responsible digital behavior. The objective was to empower participants to become more cyber-aware and vigilant. The program was coordinated by NSS Coordinator Mr.S.Balamurugan.
