Women Empowerment Cell Conducts Awareness Programme on Menstrual Hygiene Management
The Women Empowerment Cell conducted an Awareness Programme on “Menstrual Hygiene Management” on November 22, 2024, at Thomas Alva Edison Hall from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Mr. George Antony Michael, Project Director of TNSRLM, and Mrs. R. Devi were the key speakers. The Chief Guest delivered valuable insights on menstrual hygiene management. Mrs. Devi’s address focused on the importance of continuing efforts to improve menstrual hygiene management for women and girls.
All third-year girl students from all departments attended the programme. The program was coordinated by Dr. R. Anitha (AP/Physics) and Dr. P. Jessintha (AP/English), with support from the convenor Dr. N. Thenmoezhi (AP/ECE) and faculty members of the Women Empowerment Cell.
