The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with the Youth Red Cross, organized a Free Oral Cancer Screening Camp on September 26, 2025, at the Dispensary – Panjurajan Hostel. The wellness programme, conducted from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM, focused on strengthening women’s wellbeing through preventive healthcare measures.

The event was held with the blessings of Shri P. Panjurajan, Founder of AAA Group of Institutions, and was carried out under the guidance of Dr. M. Sekar, Principal. The programme was convened by Dr. N. Thenmoezhi, AP(SG)/ECE, with the support of coordinators Dr. P. Jessintha, AP/S&H and Mrs. P. Ganeshwari, AP/ECE.

The camp emphasized the importance of oral health, early detection of oral cancer, and offered free screening services. Both teaching and non-teaching staff actively participated, availing themselves of expert consultations and preventive care guidance from healthcare professionals.

Through this initiative, AAA College once again demonstrated its commitment to women’s health and empowerment, by embedding wellness programmes within the academic environment, promoting proactive healthcare practices, and spreading awareness about the significance of life-saving screenings.
