As per the instruction given by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the NSS Unit of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, organised the bicycle rally on June 3, 2023, at Virudhunagar. The rally was inaugurated by Virudhunagar Baazar Station police officials. Mr.Manikandan, Sub Inspector of Police, explained the importance of bicycle rides to improve our physical fitness and reduce the toxic emissions discharged by automobiles. He insisted the volunteers use the bicycle wherever possible for transportation. This rally covered the area of Virudhunagar, starting from the Rotary Club to Main Baazar via Sivagamipuram. NSS volunteers kept the posters in their bicycles to create awareness against drug usage and its ill effects. In this rally, volunteers insisted the people at Virudhunagar not touch drugs in their lives. 20 NSS volunteers eagerly participated in the rally. This awareness rally was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator, Mr. S. Balamurugan.
