Association Inauguration & Technical Guest Lecture on “Cloud Fundamentals with Azure”

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at AAA College of Engineering and Technology successfully organized its Association Inauguration Ceremony, in collaboration with the CSI Student Chapter, on August 6, 2025.
The event commenced with a formal welcome address by Mr. A. Vishnu Sekaran, followed by an inspiring presidential address from Dr. M. Sekar, Principal of AAACET, highlighting the department’s commitment to nurturing technical excellence and innovation.
Dr. J. Hemalatha, Head of the Department, announced the student executive committee members and unveiled the department’s academic and co-curricular roadmap for the year. The roadmap aims to empower students through a series of workshops, coding challenges, tech talks, and industry-focused engagements.
A key highlight of the event was the guest lecture on “Cloud Fundamentals with Azure” delivered by Mr. Arun Kumar, Team Leader at Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. The session offered a comprehensive overview of cloud infrastructure, deployment models, service types (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and emphasized real-world applications of Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments. Mr. Arun Kumar also discussed career pathways in cloud computing and the emerging trends in cloud-native development, thereby bridging the gap between academia and industry.
The audience, comprising students and faculty members, actively participated and gained valuable insights into modern cloud computing paradigms and the digital transformation landscape.
The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Ms. M. M. Vishnu Bala, expressing gratitude to the management, the dignitaries, the guest speaker, and all participants for their contributions toward making the event a grand success.
