The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, organized a National Level Technical Symposium titled “AMPHEROZ’25” on 15th October 2025 at Kamarajar Auditorium. The symposium aimed to enhance students’ technical knowledge and provide a common platform to showcase their innovative ideas and creativity in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The event began with the registration at 9.15 a.m., followed by a prayer song and the lighting of the kuthuvilakku, marking an auspicious start to the program. Ms. R. Nithyalakshmi (IV Year EEE) delivered the Welcome Address, warmly greeting the dignitaries, faculty members, and participants from various institutions. Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, Professor and Head of the Department of EEE, delivered the Inaugural Address, motivating students to explore new technological advancements and emphasizing the importance of hands-on learning and research-oriented thinking in the engineering domain. During the inauguration, the Department Magazine and Newsletter were formally introduced by the Chief Guests, marking a proud moment for the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering as it showcased the achievements, innovations, and creative works of students and faculty members.
The chief guests of the event were Mr. S. Manimaran, B.E., Junior Engineer Grade–II, ESI Substation, Sivakasi, and Ms. M. Rashmika, B.E., EEE Alumna (2019–2023 Batch), Programmer Analyst, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Bangalore. Mr. S. Manimaran shared his professional experiences from the power sector, providing valuable insights into the operation and maintenance of substations, renewable energy integration, and the importance of safety and reliability in power systems. He encouraged the students to develop technical expertise and leadership qualities to succeed in the energy industry. Ms. M. Rashmika, an accomplished alumna of the EEE department, inspired the audience by narrating her journey from college life to the corporate world. She emphasized the importance of perseverance, communication skills, and adaptability in achieving professional success in the IT and technology sectors.
Following the inauguration, various technical events such as paper presentation, circuit debugging, project expo, and technical quiz were organized, providing an excellent opportunity for participants to exhibit their analytical and problem-solving skills. A total of 121 participants from several engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu and neighboring states took part in the symposium, making it a grand success. The participants actively engaged in competitions and interactive sessions, sharing their knowledge and gaining valuable exposure to emerging technologies.
The Valedictory Function of AMPHEROZ’25 commenced at 4.00 p.m., where certificates and prizes were distributed to the winners of the various events. The participants appreciated the hospitality, coordination, and smooth conduct of the program by the organizing team. Mr. K. M. Hari Prasath (IV Year EEE) delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the management, conveners, faculty coordinators, and student volunteers for their dedication and teamwork. He also extended his appreciation to the chief guests for their inspiring presence and valuable words of motivation.
The event concluded with the National Anthem at 4.35 p.m., marking the end of a day filled with learning, innovation, and celebration of engineering talent.
