The Department of Civil Engineering of AAA College of Engineering and Technology and the Civil Engineering Students Association (CESA), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized the National Level Technical Symposium – STRUCTINNOVA 2K26 on 22nd January 2026 at Sir Isaac Newton Hall.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Er. S. Vigneshwaran, B.E. (Civil), Managing Director, Skyline Constructions, Sivakasi, and an Alumnus (2013–2017 Batch) of the college. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and motivated students by sharing insights on industry expectations, emerging opportunities in civil engineering, and the importance of innovation, skill development, and professional ethics for a successful career.Mr.Suresh Jothi, Alumni of 2013-2017 Batch and associated with Skyline Builders also joined in the inaugural function.
An MoU was also signed between Department of Civil Engineering, AAACET and Skyline Builders on the same day for support in internships and placements.
STRUCTINNOVA 2K26 received an encouraging response with a total of 105 participants from various institutions. Students participated actively in both technical and non-technical events, creating a competitive and energetic learning environment. Participants attended from institutions including MEPCO Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, RMK Engineering College , Chennai, NPR College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul, RAMCO Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam, Kamaraj College of Engineering & Technology, Virudhunagar and Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College, Sivakasi.
