The NSS Unit of AAACET, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu School Education Department and UNICEF, successfully organized a two‑day School Innovation Development Program (SIDP) Boot Camp 2.0 from 5 to 6 February 2026 at the Kamarajar Auditorium. The camp aimed to nurture creativity, innovation, and problem‑solving skills among school students. The program was inaugurated by District Chief Education Officer Mr.K.Aravindhan, in the presence of Principal Dr.M.Sekar, EDIITN Joint Director Dr.Perpet, and UNICEF Yuwah Lead Mr.Vamsi Krishna. As part of this initiative, guide teachers were appointed to train students in creative thinking and innovation. Out of 778 projects submitted in Virudhunagar district, 29 teams were shortlisted to present their ideas at the boot camp. A total of 133 students, guided by 29 mentor teachers, actively participated in the camp. Faculty mentors including Dr. Dany, Dr. Rajaletchumi, Dr. Pradeep, Dr. Arivarsan, Dr. Jaganathan, and Dr. Pradeepa provided training and support throughout the sessions. The evaluation panel comprised Dr.Suresh Babu, Dr.Sivaranchani, Dr.Dany, Dr.Thenmozhi, Mr.Saravanan, and Mr.Sudharsan Anbazhagan, who assessed the projects, offered constructive feedback, and motivated the participants. The camp was effectively conducted under the leadership of District Project Manager Mr.P.Philip Milton and District Environmental Coordinator Mr.Ilayaraja, with strong organizational support from the NSS volunteers of AAACET, coordinated by NSS Program Officer Mr. Balamurugan.
